It was a journey full of challenges, Not the first in a path that refused to be easy. so before it even started I knew it was not going to be the last. With all the humanity and the creativity I have, and all sense my soul holds, I wanted to make it a milestone in my artistic trail,”The village of cold” , a series of authentic portraits, faces and lives marked by the harshness of nature for which no shields were provided. I attempted to convey the pain in their facial expressions in some of the portraits, and in other I tried to show their resilience and their courage. My way was the way they wanted it.
كانت رحلة محفوفة بالمخاطر، ليست الأولى في مشوار أبى أن يكون سهلاً، فقبل إنطلاقها علمت أنها لن تكون الأخيرة.
بكل إنسانية وإبداع، بكل ما تحمله روحي من حس، أردت أن اجعلها راسخة في مشواري الفني، “دوار البرد”، سلسلة صور لاتحتاج إلى تأويل، وجوه تطاولت عليهم قسوة الطبيعة لتجعل حياتهم تفتقر لوسائل لطالما كانت بديهية أو من المسلمات إن صح القول. استطعت نقل تعابير وجوه تعاني، أو بالأحرى حاولت، ابهرتني بشجاعتها وقوتها، هكذا كانت طريقتي و هكذا أرادوا أن تكون.
