Danish Industry
This series documented a site visit to a Moroccan mining and mineral-processing operation, hosting a Danish industrial delegation as part of an industrial partnership between the two countries. Workers and visitors in hard hats, hi-vis vests and green branded coveralls — several wearing protective masks — were photographed touring the site: standing near heavy earth-moving equipment, positioned against crushing and conveyor machinery, and climbing steel stairways between processing structures, with wide shots of the ore stockpiles, silos and industrial towers framing the scale of the operation.
BMZ
BMZ, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, is Germany’s ministry overseeing its international development agenda, funding programs that support traditional craft and rural livelihoods abroad. This series documented traditional Moroccan rug and textile craftsmanship as part of that work, shot inside a decorated tent set up with layered Berber carpets covering the floor and walls. A woman in traditional dress was photographed carding raw wool by hand, alongside close-up detail shots of the finished rugs’ patterns and weave, tracing the craft from raw material to finished piece.
Invest For Jobs
Invest for Jobs is a German development-cooperation initiative focused on creating employment across Africa and the Middle East by channeling private-sector investment into local economies, and this series documented one of its vocational training workshops in Morocco, built around electronics and appliance repair. Young trainees, both men and women, worked side by side at benches disassembling and refurbishing equipment — soldering irons, circuit boards and stripped-down appliances spread across the tables — all dressed in matching dark workwear, protective gloves and safety glasses, learning a trade meant to lead directly into local jobs.
OXFAM Maroc
A series of portraits made for OXFAM Maroc, part of the international OXFAM confederation’s work fighting poverty and inequality, celebrating the women at the heart of local communities across Morocco — the organizers, caregivers and workers who hold their communities together. Each portrait is deliberately staged against a bold, colorful backdrop — floral fabric, painted walls, patterned textiles chosen to echo each woman’s own surroundings — turning a straightforward documentary portrait series into something closer to a tribute, reflecting the warmth and character of the women themselves.
Afrique Créative // V4M
Event coverage for Afrique Créative at the Visa For Music (V4M) forum, one of the region’s platforms for African and Arab music industry professionals to meet and collaborate. The series documents the roundtable discussion and partner presentations held inside a traditional Moroccan reception hall — ornate tilework and carved plaster framing the panel — capturing both the formal proceedings on stage and the exchanges happening around the room.
IFEGH / Best Rural School
A photo series for IFEGH documenting one of its rural school programs in Morocco, part of the organization’s broader work supporting education access outside the country’s major cities. The series moves through a full day of hands-on learning — children absorbed in painting and art activities, a traditional classroom lesson, and a more unexpected addition: a hands-on Arduino electronics workshop introducing students to basic circuitry and coding, bringing a modern STEM component into a rural school setting.
UN Women / Public Space
UN Women, the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women worldwide, commissioned this photo series to document women’s everyday presence and confidence in Moroccan public space — a space traditionally read as male. The images follow women walking a tree-lined Rabat sidewalk and threading the blue-washed lanes of an old medina, moving through the city on their own terms, alongside girls’ football and rugby teams training and playing on open city pitches, claiming the same ground typically reserved for men’s sport.
