Textile industry

This factory-floor reportage documents Morocco’s textile industry at a moment of transition, as government policy has pushed the sector to move beyond exporting raw material and start producing more finished goods domestically, widening the range of products Morocco can export and drawing fresh investment as trade patterns shift, including growing trade with the US. The coverage was shot on an active production floor, framing the hands of workers at each stage of the process, cutting, threading, stitching lines in motion, alongside the ribbons and finished materials moving through the factory.
Tramway Rabat Salé

The Rabat-Sale tramway opened to the public on May 23, 2011, with its first two lines connecting the two cities on dedicated tracks separate from regular road traffic. This was a visual study of its architecture rather than a documentary shoot of passengers or operations. The series traces how the tramway’s structure interacts with light across the day, glass canopies, steel support lines and open sky framed together at stations and along the elevated sections of track, treating the infrastructure itself as an architectural subject.
Driscoll’s

Driscoll’s is a California-based berry company and fourth-generation family business, in the Reiter and Driscoll families since the late 1800s, controlling roughly a third of the six-billion-dollar US berry market from its headquarters in Watsonville. The company develops its own proprietary berry varieties and licenses them exclusively to approved growers, one of whom this farm reportage covered. The shoot alternated between two levels of focus: portraits of the growers themselves, photographed inside the shaded tunnels where the berries are cultivated, and close, detail-level shots of blackberries at various stages of ripening directly on the vine.
Nespresso

Nespresso is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, and operates as a subsidiary of Nestle, positioned in the capsule coffee market with machines built around its own aluminum pods and known for margins closer to the luxury goods industry than to mass-market coffee. This tabletop styling shoot was built around a series of coffee tributes, Nespresso’s term for recipes pairing specific capsules with complementary flavors. Each setup paired a capsule’s color palette with the spices, fruit or other ingredients referenced in that tribute, staged across two distinct settings: a Palermo-inspired tasting bar built around citrus and warmth, and a Milano-inspired ingredient board leaning into a more classic espresso presentation.
UN Women

UN Women is the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women, and this photo series was built around a specific angle on that mission: women working as bus drivers in Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier and Marrakech, a role still dominated by men across Morocco’s public transport sector. The series followed individual drivers at work, behind the wheel, at the depot, interacting with passengers, treating each city’s drivers as part of the same larger story rather than a single case study. The intent was to make visible a role that’s rarely photographed, giving UN Women a set of images that document real working women rather than an illustrative or staged concept.
WeEngage

WeEngage commissioned this work in two parts: a broader image bank covering editorial and social media use, and a more structured set of individual staff portraits built specifically for the company’s organizational chart. The image bank portion was shot with the same range-over-specificity approach as any ongoing content library, flexible shots meant to be reused across different communications rather than tied to one campaign, while the staff portraits followed a consistent, repeatable setup for each person, so that every employee’s portrait would sit uniformly alongside the others once placed into the finished org chart.
GIZ – Promotion de l’entrepreneuriat axée sur les petites et très petites entreprises et les startups (PROMET)

GIZ’s PROMET program addresses a defining fact of the Moroccan economy: very small and small/medium enterprises, or TPME, make up 98 percent of all private businesses in the country, yet face regulatory and administrative hurdles that limit their potential, are often started out of necessity rather than entrepreneurial ambition, and struggle with under-financing and limited use of digital tools. The program treats the transformation of these businesses, especially women-led ones, as central to Morocco’s development, working to improve their access to financial and non-financial services, public-private support and digital technology. This photo report was built to place individual entrepreneurs within that wider economic landscape, opening with a drone view over a greenhouse operation and pulling back to frame the Casablanca skyline behind the businesses it profiles.
GIZ – Résilience Rurale

Morocco is facing a major water crisis driven by rapid socioeconomic growth and climate change, a strain felt most acutely in agriculture, where progress has come at the cost of overexploiting water resources and left small farmers especially exposed. This GIZ program responds on three levels: nationally, supporting the Ministry of Equipment and Water on interministerial coordination; regionally, backing river basin agencies across three regions on participatory planning and digital water management; and locally, working in nine pilot villages to train farmers in resilient practices, supply monitoring and testing equipment, and support collective water management. This field reportage followed smallholders through their actual harvest work, picking roses and herbs by hand across dry, water-scarce terrain, grounding the program’s climate-adaptation goals in real people and real crops.
BANK AL-MAGHRIB

Bank Al-Maghrib is Morocco’s central bank, and this series documents its heritage and numismatic museum in Rabat, built to preserve the country’s monetary history. Wide interior shots capture the museum’s blue-toned exhibit halls, glass display cases of historic Moroccan banknotes and coins, an “Effigies Royales” wall dedicated to royal portraits on currency, and large-scale banknote reproductions covering the walls. Other images document a formal guided tour or inauguration event, with visitors and dignitaries in suits gathered around display cases of historic documents and banknotes, and a guide gesturing toward an interactive touchscreen display.
Competence Center on Automation Morocco

This series documented a vocational training “Competence Center” in Morocco focused on automation and mechatronics, where young trainees design and hand-assemble working mechanical rigs — loom-like frames built with pulleys, belts and motorized wheels — alongside a 3D-printing and prototyping setup for rapid testing. Other images capture a workshop discussion gathered around a laptop and a visit from program partners and observers touring the space, including a group photo in front of a branded booth, showing the center as both a hands-on classroom and a site partners actively engage with.
